Truly Yummy Guacamole

Truly Yummy Guacamole

Truly authentic Mexican guacamole is just avocado, lime and a pinch of salt. Yummy when served on a slice of gluten free toast with a perfectly poached egg.

My Truly Yummy Guacamole takes guacamole to the next level with a few easy additions that really elevate the taste while keeping it gluten free and dairy free. Making it at home means you can adjust the heat, texture, and flavour to your liking. Using a food processor not only speeds up the process but you can decide whether to make it chunky or silky smooth.

I first discovered the base of this recipe in Mary Berry Everyday, but I’ve made it my own by tweaking the amount of fresh green chilli and using frozen chopped coriander rather than fresh. I always keep a bag of frozen chopped coriander in my freezer to avoid wastage and less chopping. The result? Truly Yummy Guacamole that’s quick, bold, and perfect every time.

Serve it simply with tortilla chips, spoon it on top tacos, add it to chicken fajitas, or check out my Truly Yummy Stuffed Sweet Potato recipe made even better with a spoonful or two of this Truly Yummy Guacamole.
