Truly Yummy Lemon Garlicky Potatoes

These Lemon Garlicky Potatoes are truly yummy, naturally gluten free and dairy free. Unlike many frozen chip brands that often contain added sugar, gluten and other unnecessary ingredients, these homemade wedges are made using just six simple, wholesome ingredients.
With minimal prep, these lemon garlicky potatoes roast away in the oven while you focus on the rest of your meal. A fuss-free side dish that pairs beautifully with my Truly Yummy Feta Lamb Burgers.

Truly Yummy Lemon Garlicky Potatoes
Gluten free and dairy free lemon garlicky potatoes. Recommended ingredients Belazu Crete Gold extra virgin olive oil, Maris Piper potatoes, garlic, lemon, dried oregano, salt.

- 1 baking tray
Ingredients
- 1 kg white potatoes recommend Maris Piper potatoes
- 60 ml olive oil recommend Belazu Crete Gold extra virgin olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 lemons, juice only
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt recommend salt flakes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200℃ fan or gas mark 6.
- In a small bowl combine and whisk together the olive oil, crushed garlic, lemon juice, dried oregano and salt to make a dressing.

- Cut the potatoes in half, then slice each half into three. Toss the wedges in the lemon garlicky dressing.

- Spread out the potato wedges in a single layer on the baking tray.

- Place the tray in the oven and roast, turning the potatoes every 15–20 minutes to ensure they brown evenly and turn crisp.

Notes
To avoid the wedges for sticking to the tray I usually line the tray with baking parchment.
